Koshi Province Cabinet Reshuffled: New Ministers Take Oath

Morang, Jan 6: Koshi Province Chief Parshuram Khapung, acting on the recommendation of Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki, has reshuffled the Province Council of Ministers and administered the oath of office to the newly-appointed ministers this evening.

In accordance with Article 168 (9) of the Constitution, Province Chief Khapung administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers, while Chief Minister Karki administered the oath to the newly-appointed State Ministers.

The new cabinet includes Pradeep Kumar Sunuwar as Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Bhim Parajuli as Minister for Tourism, Forests and Environment, Tilchan Pathak as Minister for Water Supply, Irrigation and Energy, Indramani Parajuli as Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Bidur Kumar Lingthep as Minister for Finance and Planning, Ram Prasad Mahato as Minister for Social Development, Man Bahadur Limbu as Minister for Health, and Israil Mansuri as Minister for Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Additionally, Shobha Chemjong has been appointed Minister of State for Physical Infrastructure Development, and Umakant Gautam as Minister of State for Internal Affairs and Law, the Office of the Province Chief confirmed.
