All-side meeting urges social and religious harmony in Birgunj

Birganj: An all-side meeting in Parsa has called for maintaining social harmony amid recent tensions related to social and religious issues in Birgunj Metropolitan City.

Political leaders urged both communities to work together and stressed resolving long-term problems under the guidance of Hindu and Muslim religious leaders.

They also asked residents to keep Birgunj a “zone of peace.”

Parsa Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal said authorities are coordinating with all agencies to maintain social harmony and appealed for unity to ensure peace.
