Bhadrapur Set to Host Industrial, Trade and Tourism Fair After Nine Years

Jhapa, Jan 6: An Industrial, Trade, Agriculture and Tourism Fair will be organized in Bhadrapur, Jhapa, from January 21 to February 4, marking the return of the major business event to the city after nine years.

The fair is being organized by the Jhapa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is expected to boost confidence among the business community in eastern Nepal. Acting Chair of the Chamber, Raj Kumar Rai, said the event would serve as a significant platform for trade promotion and economic activity.

More than 100 stalls featuring national and international products will be set up during the fair. Organizers estimate that business transactions worth around Rs 100 million will take place over the event period.

The fair is also expected to play a key role in promoting small and cottage industries, tourism, and the service sector across the eastern districts of the country.
