Government Pledges Free and Fair Elections: Minister Kharel

Patan, Jan 3: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has affirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring a free and fair election.

Speaking at a programme in Mangalbazaar, Lalitpur, focused on voting centre identification and guidance, Minister Kharel reassured the public ahead of the March 5 election.

He highlighted that significant progress in information technology has made it easier for voters to locate their designated voting centres and access directions, eliminating confusion on election day.

Minister Kharel also emphasized the government’s recognition of Gen-Z, noting efforts to integrate technology into governance to empower youth participation in public affairs.
