Bhojpur Registers 125,766 Voters Ahead of March 21 HoR Election

Bhojpur, Dec 29 — A total of 125,766 voters have been registered in Bhojpur district for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for March 21.

Chief of the District Election Office, Dikendra Subedi, confirmed the release of the updated voter list, noting an increase of 2,387 voters compared to the previous election, when the district had 123,379 registered voters. Of the total, 65,788 are male, 59,977 are female, and one voter is registered as ‘other’.

The office also released voter data by local level: Bhojpur Municipality has 20,189 voters, Shadananda Municipality 21,896, Arun Rural Municipality 12,643, Amchowk Rural Municipality 12,444, Pauwadung Rural Municipality 10,663, Temkemaiyung Rural Municipality 13,557, Ramprasad Rai Rural Municipality 11,900, Salpasilichho Rural Municipality 8,724, and Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality 13,750.

Subedi added that preparations for the upcoming election are underway to ensure a smooth voting process across the district.
