Intra Pathari-11 Clinches Second Satisa Gold Cup Title

Pathari, Morang | Dec 24 — Intra Pathari-11 emerged champions of the second Satisa Gold Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament, defeating Betana United Football Club of Belbari in a tense final on Tuesday.

The title-deciding match, played at the Satisa Sporting Club Football Ground, ended in a goalless draw after regulation time. Intra Pathari-11 secured the trophy with a 4–2 victory in the penalty shootout.

With the win, Intra Pathari-11 lifted the Gold Cup along with a cash prize of Rs 202,222. Runners-up Betana United received Rs 101,111.

Despite the loss, Betana United’s Vivek Poudel was named Man of the Match for his standout performance. Goalkeeper Samir Chhetri was adjudged the Best Player of the Tournament for his consistent displays throughout the competition.

Awards were presented by ANFA Central Member Dipendra Dhimal, Morang District Football Association President Sanjeev Budhathoki, Kerabari Rural Municipality Chairperson Suman Magar, along with other distinguished guests.

The tournament was organized by Satisale Sporting Club, based in Kerabari-6, Morang, and featured teams from across the region, highlighting growing enthusiasm for football in eastern Nepal.
