Government declares journalist Rajak as martyr

Kathmandu: The government has decided to declare slain journalist Suresh Rajak as a martyr.

The government decided to declare Rajak who lost his life in course of reporting the Tinkune demonstrations of 28 March 2025 as the martyr.

The Cabinet meeting today took the decision, informed Minster for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel.
