Teenager dies after falling from hotel roof

Chitwan, Dec 4: An 18-year-old student lost her life after falling from the roof of the Park Site Hotel in Ratnanagar Municipality-6 on Wednesday night.

The victim, identified as Sneha Pakhrin of Kamalamai Municipality-6 in Sindhuli, was severely injured in the fall and died while undergoing treatment at Bakuhar Hospital, police said.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal of the District Police Office, Pakhrin had travelled to Chitwan as part of an educational tour organized by Sindhuli Gurukul College.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
