Nepali Communist Party firm on nationality, freedom: Coordinator Prachanda

Tulasipur (Dang), Nov 29: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has shared that the party’s assemblies being organised in all seven provinces are also the platform for self-criticism.

At the Lumbini-province level assembly organised at Lamahi in Dang district on Saturday, he opined that the party has been organising assemblies with a commitment to stand firm in favour of nationality and national independence by correcting the past weaknesses.

Coordinator Dahal mentioned that the leaders have been utilizing the assemblies as a means to get involved in people’s service by being more committed after the unification of 15 communist parties. The unification was necessary to fight the next battle, making the party’s relations firm with the suppressed community, he added.

The Nepali Communist Party Coordinator clarified that the unification of the like-minded political parties was to protect the nation, safeguard people’s freedom, and end foreign intervention instead of merely winning the election. We have moved forward with a determination to make any sacrifice for the cause of the people by changing ourselves after learning from the Gen-Z protest that occurred on September 8 and 9, Prachanda added.

Joint Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal, leaders Bamdev Gautam, Bhim Rawal, Barsha Man Pun, Rekha Sharma and others also addressed the assembly.
