NPL: Janakpur Bolts to play in jerseys honouring their mothers

Kathmandu: Janakpur Bolts will play in “Mother Special” jerseys in the match to be held on Thursday as part of the second Nepal Premier League in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. In the match, the team will face the Pokhara Avengers.

At a press meet today, Janakpur Bolts’ manager, Niroj Khatiwada, said that the team members will wear jerseys displaying their mothers’ names as a mark of respect

. After the match, these jerseys will be put up for auction. The team, winners of the first NPL, had lost its previous two matches. They will be aiming for a victory in Thursday’s match.
