NPL update: Karnali Yaks set 167 run target for Chitwan Rhinos

Kathmandu: Two matches are scheduled today in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL).

In the first match, which began at 11:45 am, Karnali Yaks have posted 166 for 3 in 20 overs, setting a target of 167 runs for Chitwan Rhinos.

Priyank Panchal was the top scorer for Karnali Yaks with 90 runs.

Likewise, Biratnagar Kings will face Pokhara Avengers in the second match to be held at 4 pm today.

In the opening match yesterday, defending champions Janakpur Bolts lost to Kathmandu Gorkhas by five wickets.

According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the tournament will run until the 13th of December, featuring 32 matches, including the league stage, three play-offs, and the final.

All matches are being held at the Kirtipur cricket ground, with eight franchise teams competing.
