Nine Arrested in Dang for Vandalism and Arson During Gen Z Protests

Ghorahi (Dang), Nov 9: Police have arrested nine people in Dang on charges of involvement in vandalism and arson during the Gen Z demonstrations.

They are accused of attacking and setting fire to several government offices, including the District Court Office, the Traffic Police Office, and the Police Beat at Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City–15 on September 9.

The detainees, aged between 18 and 29, are currently being interrogated, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chakra Bahadur Shah, who also serves as the information officer at the District Police Office.
