Chair Dahal calls republican forces for common front

Kathmandu, Oct 28: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has called on all republican forces to build a common front for national unity, which he argued, would protect the constitution and democracy.

It is a time to carry out the historic responsibility of seeking solutions to the problems facing democracy, he said while taking to a social networking site. Chairman Dahal further said, “Only honest political initiative with a committed organisation and revolutionary thoughts can show strength to resolve crises.

So, all progressive, nationalist leftist forces need organisational polarisation and collaboration with democratic forces.” In his argument, it is imperative for all leftist forces, including the Maoist parties, to be united for protecting the federal democratic republic and the establishment of socialism.
