PM Karki holds high-level meeting to review national security situation

Kathamndu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has held a high-level security meeting in Baluwatar to review the current security situation in the country and take necessary measures.

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Home Secretary Rameshwor Dangal, and the chiefs of all four security agencies attended the two-hour meeting. Security chiefs presented their assessments, and possible challenges were discussed in detail.

After the meeting, Home Minister Aryal said a thorough analysis of the situation had been conducted. He noted reports of various groups preparing for demonstrations and emphasized that political demands should be expressed responsibly.

He added that the government has kept the door open for dialogue to address political issues and urged all parties to act responsibly given the current circumstances.
