Bhaktapur Municipality offers ceremonial welcome to foreign tourists on WTD

Bhaktapur: Bhaktapur Municipality gave a ceremonial welcome to the foreign tourists who first entered the Bhaktapur Durbar area today, in commemoration of the World Tourism Day.

Mayor Sunil Prajapati welcomed six visitors from India, one from Austria, and two from the United States by presenting them with scarves, the traditional Bhadhagaunle caps and bags, bouquets, and the wooden replicas of the ‘Mayur windows’.

On the occasion, Mayor Prajapati said the Bhaktapur Municipality will carry out infrastructure development and various promotional programmes to promote tourism.
