Education Minister Pun assumes office

Kathmandu: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Mahabir Pun, has assumed office.

Soon after taking oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the President, Minister Pun reached the Kesharmahal-based Ministry and assumed the office.

After assuming the office, he signed a decision to form four advisory committees related to education, science and technology sector.

The committees were formed to provide advice related to space technology, nuclear technology, biotechnology and information technology and Artificial Intelligence, according to the Ministry. However, the members of these committees would be finalized later, it is said.
