Tamang, believed to have joined Gen Z protest, missing for last 11 days
September 20, Kathmandu: Thukten Palwar Tamang, 24, a permanent resident of Humla and currently living in Kathmandu, has not come into contact for the last 11 days.
Tamang, an inhabitant of Namkha Rural Municipality-3, Khagalgaun in Humla, and recently residing in Tinchuli, Kathmandu, is believed to have joined the Gen Z protests on September 8 and 9.
Father Tai Tshering said Thukten had returned to his room in Kathmandu after participating in the Gen Z protests on September 8.
Tamang, a hospitality worker, had come to his rented room after his morning shift duty on September 9 and later went to join the protest at 2.00 pm. Tamang has not returned to the apartment since the day he went to participate in the protests from Bouddha, his father informed.
His whereabouts have not been ascertained despite a search in different places of Kathmandu for the past 11 days. Tshering has urged all sides concerned to search for his son, who went missing after Gen Z protests.
