Gen Z movement victims to be declared martyrs

Kathmandu: The government has decided to declare those who died during the Gen Z Movement as martyrs, Prime Minister Sushila Karki announced after assuming office on Sunday.

The government will provide 1 million rupees in compensation to the families of the deceased. Free treatment and additional relief measures have also been approved for those injured during the protests.
