Recognizing good people means inspiring their ideal works: Chair Dahal

Patan (Lalitpur), Sept 1: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that recognising contributors inspires them to perform even better for the country.

Addressing the ‘Asian Business Achievement Awards 2025’ held today to honour national and international personalities excelling in various professions and businesses across Asian countries on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Season Media, Dahal expressed his belief that such acknowledgement would incentivise them to put in extra effort for betterment.

Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Chair of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, said that the opportunity to honour hardworking people will create positive energy. Similarly, Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan shared challenges in doing good work in the country. “Despite challenges, some notable works have been accomplished”, he added.

Pradeep Raj Onta, President of Season Media, shared that for 17 years, they have been honouring those who have excelled in social, cultural, and business fields. Season Media has honoured 29 individuals from Asian countries for their special contributions in various fields at the event. Former president of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Rajendra Malla, was feted at the event.
