Government Spokesperson Gurung stresses diplomatic resolution to Nepal-India border issue
Says Nepal has historical and factual evidence confirming Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani as its territories
Pokhara: Minister for Communication and Information Technology and government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung has emphasized the need to resolve the border dispute between Nepal and India through diplomatic dialogue.
Addressing a press conference organized by Press Chautari Kaski in Pokhara today, Communication Minister Gurung stated that there is clear historical and factual evidence confirming that Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani lie within Nepal’s borders.
The Communication Minister further noted that trade corridors and infrastructure projects cannot be developed in the name of bilateral cooperation when the land belongs to a third country.
He stressed that the issue has already reached the diplomatic level and should be resolved through constructive dialogue between Nepal and India.
