PM Oli attends opening ceremony of UN Conference on LLDCs in Turkmenistan

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli attended the opening ceremony of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), which commenced in the city of Awaza, Turkmenistan.

Prime Minister Oli arrived in Turkmenistan on Monday to take part in the conference, being held from August 5 to 8. He is participating at the joint invitation of Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The conference will feature high-level discussions focused on the economic development of landlocked nations, facilitation of international trade, expansion of infrastructure, and promotion of global cooperation.
