HoR meeting at 1:00 pm

Kathmandu, Aug 5: The House of Representatives (HoR) is holding its meeting at 1:00 this afternoon.

The HoR meeting is scheduled to approve the Alternative Finance Mobilisation Bill, 2081. Before this, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel is scheduled to present the Bill in the HoR meeting for a clause-wise discussion. The proposals received on the Bill would be tabled at the meeting for decision.

Likewise, concerned ministers are scheduled to respond to the concerns raised on the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Similarly, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari is presenting the Nepal Veterinary Medicine (First Amendment) Bill, 2082.

Furthermore, Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Nabal Kishor Sah Sudi is scheduled to present the Bill on Children (First Amendment), 2082, seeking consideration of the HoR.
