Nepal-China friendship must extend to future generations: PM Oli
July 18, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli stressed expanding Nepal-China friendship to future generations. Nepal is fully committed to strengthening bilateral ties, the PM said.
The Nepal-China Cultural Summit 2025, hosted by Phoenix Inspiration to mark 70 years of diplomatic relations, underscored the historical bonds between the two nations. The event promotes cultural exchanges, fostering deeper connections across generations. Relations extend beyond trade, embracing shared values and cultural diversity to enhance multifaceted ties.
The event also saw the participation of the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song.
Prime Minister Oli presented awards at the summit, recognising Kathmandu Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol for youth empowerment, Rajesh Kaji Shrestha and Birendra Raj Pandey for business leadership, and Anuradha Sharma for education excellence.
