Kirtipur Cricket Stadium nears completion as PM Oli announce penalties for delays

July 17, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the construction of the Kirtipur Cricket Stadium has reached its final stage.

In a social media post today, he mentioned that the contractor company, which failed to complete the stadium construction on time, is now paying penalties while continuing the work.

Despite working in three shifts, delays may have occurred due to rain and other technical reasons. However, the government has now implemented a system of penalties and rewards to ensure results and establish discipline, which is a positive step,” Prime Minister Oli wrote. “We are enforcing this approach in other ongoing government construction projects as well.”
