New General Administration Minister Neupane to be sworn in today at 6 PM

Kathmandu: The swearing-in ceremony of newly appointed Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Bhagwati Neupane, is scheduled for 6 PM this evening.

President Ram Chandra Poudel appointed Neupane to the post on Monday, following a recommendation from Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

She replaces Rajkumar Gupta, who resigned the same day after being implicated in a bribery scandal. His resignation came at the direction of the Prime Minister.

Neupane, a member of the National Assembly, will formally assume office following today’s ceremony.
