Nepal taking on Bangladesh in SAFF Under-20 Women’s Championship today

Kathmandu: Nepal is taking on defending champions Bangladesh today in the SAFF Under-20 Women’s Championship in Dhaka.

The match kicks off at 6:45 pm Nepal standard time.

Both teams started their campaigns with big wins—Nepal beat Bhutan by 6-1, while Bangladesh thrashed Sri Lanka by 9-1.

With India not participating this year, Bangladesh and Nepal are seen as the main contenders in the four-nation tournament.

Each team will play the others twice, and the top team on points will be crowned champions.

Sri Lanka and Bhutan have joined Nepal and Bangladesh in the Championship.
