PM Oli urges three children by age 30, discourages late marriage

July 11, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has emphasised the need for balanced population growth alongside development to safeguard human existence during the launch of the National Population Policy, 2025.

Speaking at the launch program organised by the Ministry of Health and Population on World Population Day, the PM urged citizens to marry and have children on time, highlighting that population decline in developed nations threatens human survival.

PM Oli stressed responsible family planning to maintain demographic balance, discouraging delayed marriages and promoting having three children by age 30. He also expressed concern over declining birth rates due to past awareness campaigns and called for effective implementation of the policy to address population imbalances.
