GP Koirala established citizens’ supreme power: NC Leader Sitaula

Kathmandu, July 8: Nepali Congress leader and National Assembly member Krishna Prasad Sitaula said the late leader Girija Prasad Koirala established the fact that citizens bear supreme power.

During a programme organised by the GP Koriala Democracy Promotion Centre here on Monday, leader Sitaula remembered that the late Koirala was an untiring political figure in Nepal. He is an inspiring political person, Sitaula added.

He further argued that the courage the Nepali Congress leader had was for the cause of the people, which saved democracy and the system from casualty. Sitaula further remembered Koirala as the commander of the people’s movement in 2062/63.
