Lhende stream flood: Nine rescued safely
Rasuwa, July 8: Nine persons stranded in various places of Rasuwa after the flooded Lhende stream in Nepal-China border have been rescued safely.
Among 37 persons gone out of contact, it was learnt that 22 were safe in a shelter while 15 were yet to come in contact, according to Drub Prasad Adhikari, Assistant CDO in Rasuwa. Meanwhile, the Home Minister’s secretariat has informed that a helicopter was ready to rescue those stranded by the flooding.
However, adverse weather is hampering the operation of the helicopter in Rasuwa. An NA helicopter is on standby at Trishuli, Nuwakot.
