Partly to generally cloudy weather predicted

Kathmandu, July 8: The country is currently affected by monsoon winds.

The low-pressure belt of the monsoon is near the average range, according to the Weather Forecasting Division. The weather service informed that it will be partly to generally cloudy weather throughout the day today. Light to moderate rainfall, along with thunder and lightning, is predicted in some places of the hilly regions of all provinces.

However, one to two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces will have heavy rainfall. Similarly, light rains and snowfall are likely in the upper hilly and mountainous regions.
