Invert work completed on 1089-meter Siddhababa Tunnel in Palpa
Palpa: The invert work of the 1089-meter Siddhababa Tunnel in Palpa has been completed.
According to Project Chief Krishna Raj Adhikari, 8 hundred and 34 meters of tunnel lining has also been done, and the remaining 255 meters will be completed in the coming months.
Work on bypass tunnels, electrification, and mountain safety is ongoing. The tunnel, being built by China State Construction and Engineering Corporation at a cost of 7.34 billion rupees , has achieved 56% physical and 50% financial progress.
Once complete, it will improve travel safety on Siddhartha Highway by reducing landslide risks in the Siddhababa area.
