High-level Good Governance Commission meeting today

Kathmandu: The inaugural meeting of the High-Level Good Governance Commission is taking place today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

According to Roshni Meche, the Prime Minister’s Personal Joint Secretary, the meeting—scheduled at Singha Durbar, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers—will focus on ongoing efforts to promote good governance in the country and explore potential reform measures.

The commission was established by a decision of the Council of Ministers on April 20. It is chaired by Prime Minister Oli and includes key government figures such as Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasia, among others.
