Revenue worth Rs 45.61 billion collected via Birgunj Dry Port

Birgunj (Parsa): The Birgunj Dry Port Customs Office in Sirsiya collected the revenue amounting to over Rs 45.61 billion in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year 2024-25.

According to the Office’s chief customs officer, Dhan Bahadur Baruwal, though the revenue collection in the current fiscal year was not discouraging, the collection is not likely to meet the target.

Its monthly collection on average was four billion. The Office’s revenue collection target in the current fiscal year stands at Rs 60.04 billion.
