114 students of Rajarshi Janak University graduated
Janakpurdham: A total of 114 master level and bachelor’s level students graduated from the Rajarshi Janak University on Tuesday.

Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University, KP Sharma Oli, conferred the degree on the graduating students in the first graduation ceremony of the university held here.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister also presented medals to four outstanding students of the university and 10 students with the highest scores from different faculties and academic programmes.
During the event, senior litterateur Prof Dr Rajendra Bimal urged the students to devote their knowledge and skills to the cause of the nation and society with top priority.
University’s Vice Chancellor Dr Amar Prasad Yadav termed the convocation ceremony as a historic event and expressed his commitment to providing quality education in the university.

The university runs 13 academic programmes under four faculties, including Humanities and Law, Science, Technology and Engineering, Health and Management.
Vice Chancellor Dr Yadav said that around 1,700 students from 19 districts and five provinces are studying in different affiliated campuses of the university.
The university now has five constituent and 69 affiliate campuses. Before the convocation ceremony, Prime Minister and Chancellor Oli presided over the Senate meeting of the university.
