Search for missing security personnel continues

Dharan (Sunsari): The body of one of two armed police personnel, who went missing in the SaptaKoshi River during the disaster rescue exercise, has been found, while a search for the other missing person is underway.

Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Suman Kumar Timalsina, informed that the body of Haredav Rajbanshi, who was working at the Dantakali Special Training School in Saptari, was found on Friday along the banks of the SaptaKoshi River.

Suraj Saud from Doti is still missing, and the search for him is on, the police official further informed.

The Armed Police Force (APF)’s divers, along with a trained disaster management team, have been deployed for the search.
