On Air Station:

House meeting delayed again amid ongoing visit visa row

Kathmandu: The meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for 1 PM today has been delayed once again, as the ongoing parliamentary obstruction over the visit visa controversy remains unresolved.

Tensions between the ruling and opposition parties have stalled proceedings, with both sides holding firm to their respective positions. As a result, yesterday’s meeting failed to move forward with its agenda, and earlier sessions scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday were also postponed due to the deadlock.

Opposition parties have been disrupting the House since May 27, demanding clarity and action on the government’s handling of visit visas. With no breakthrough in sight, the legislative impasse continues to paralyze parliamentary business.
