The foundation stone for the construction of the headquarters was laid in a way to build all government offices of the district in one stop on 20 April 2019. An ambitious plan was put forward for the construction of the district headquarters on 187 bighas of land in Kawasoti Municipality-3. However, it did not progress for a long time. Currently, two separate office buildings are being constructed through different contracts at the model headquarters site.
