Opposition’s criticism helps party improve

Deukhuri (Dang), May 21: CPN (UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that criticism from the opposition parties makes the party strong and united.

Speaking at a training program for party cadres and people’s representatives organised by the UML Local Development Department in Dang, leader Pokharel argued, “When the opposition begins to praise, one must realise they lost their way.” He claimed that the UML has faced several ups and downs and moved forward strongly, establishing itself as the country’s most popular party.

Pokharel stated, “UML is a party established to bring changes to the country. We continue to fight for democracy and prosperity.” He emphasised the need to promote the good work done by local governments. Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Tikaram Khadka presented the municipal development plan at the event.
