Head of State and Government express best wishes to Radio Nepal on its 75th Anniversary

President Ram Chandra Poudel has issued a message of congratulations on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Radio Nepal (Diamond Jubilee).

While mentioning that the establishment of Radio Nepal is linked to the historical events of the establishment of democracy in Nepal, the President has said that it is the starting point for the country’s broadcasting media to enter an era.

He said that Radio Nepal has not only witnessed Nepal’s political, economic, social, and cultural events and issues but also has made a significant contribution to the dissemination of truthful information.

President Poudel also added that Radio Nepal has made a significant contribution to the preservation and promotion of the inclusive character of Nepali society by broadcasting news in 25 languages ​​and programs in 24 languages.

Similarly, on the occasion , Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has issued a message of congratulations and wished the success of the publication of the new issue of Radio Nepal’s mouthpiece ‘Jhankar’. He has emphasized that Radio Nepal should disseminate information for the prosperity and economic progress of the country.

Saying that Radio Nepal’s contribution is expected to be important in achieving the government’s objective of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’, Prime Minister Oli has called on Radio Nepal to contribute to the campaign for development and prosperity in the future.

Prime Minister Oli has given a message to provide information and news to every citizen of the country through the umbrella of public service broadcasting by integrating Radio Nepal and Nepal Television. He has wished Radio Nepal a successful 75-year journey and to contribute to the development of the country in the future.
