Shakya appointed as NEA MD

Kathmandu: The government has appointed Hitendra Dev Shakya as the Managing Director (MD) of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

The Council of Ministers’ meeting this evening appointed Shakya after the decision to remove Kulman Ghising from the post.

Similarly, the government also decided to appoint Narad Luitel as the CEO of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE).

Today’s meeting also formed a three-member recommendation committee, coordinated by the Finance Minister, to appoint the Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank.
