17 plays from 12 nations to be featured in 3rd NITFest
Kathmandu: Seventeen plays from 12 countries would be featured in the third edition of Nepal International Theatre Festival (NITFest).
Mandala Theatre is organizing the NITFest from March 19-25, said Festival coordinator Kedar Shrestha.
He shared, “We had received 115 plays from around the world. Of them, 17 have been selected”, he added.
The NITFest is taking place under the theme ‘Theatre for Social Transformation: Light of Indigenous Wisdom’ at Mandala Theatre in Kathmandu as well as in Pokhara, Bharatpur and Belbari.
The NITFest will gather more than 100 foreign artists, where artists from Scotland, China and Germany would organise three separate workshops as well as art, music, and dance would be performed in the event.
