Karnali Province government supports  PSB: Chief Minister Kandel

Surkhet: Karnali Province Chief Minister Yamalal Kandel and Public Service Broadcasting Nepal’s Executive Chairperson Dr. Mahendra Bista held discussions on the issue of collaboration with the province to operate the Nepal Television Karnali Bureau Office.

During the discussion, held at the Chief Minister’s Office in Surkhet today Chief Minister Kandel mentioned that collaboration is still ongoing with Radio Nepal and  Nepal Television, and said the provincial government is committed to supporting and collaborating in the coming days in line with the concept of public service broadcasting Nepal.

Chief Minister Kandel stated that it is necessary to make the services of Nepal Television and Radio Nepal more effective in Karnali Province. During the discussion, Executive Chairman Dr. Bista said that the broadcasting of Radio Nepal and Nepal Television is being made people-centric by using modern technologies.

Executive Chairman Dr. Bista today monitored and inspected the studio of Nepal Television Karnali Bureau Office as well as Radio Nepal Provincial Office in Surkhet.
