18 people hurt in bus accident at Dhulikhel

Dhulikhel (Kavrepalanchowk), Feb 25: Eighteen people were injured when a passenger bus was involved in an accident at Sharadabatas of Dhulikhel Municipality-10 in Kavrepalanchowk this morning.

The bus, with registration number Bagmati Province-3-01-005 Kha 9942, overturned on the roadside after the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle, according to the police.

A total of 24 people, including the driver and the assistant, were on board the bus at the time of the accident.

Among the injured, seven sustained moderate injuries, while the remaining received minor injuries. Those injured are being treated at Dhulikhel Hospital, according to District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale.
