Dry landslide obstructs Khandbari-Kimathanka road

Khandbari (Sankhuwasabha), Feb 24: A dry landslide has blocked the Khandbari-Kimathanka road section of the Koshi Highway this morning.

The Chairperson of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality, Wangchhedar Bhote, shared that the landslide occurred at the Dhigdanda section, which is located 109 kilometres from Khandbari.

The landslide has buried approximately 30 meters of road in that section. Vehicles travelling towards Bhotkhola from Khandbari and heading to various destinations have been stranded due to the landslide.
