Aaha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup: NPC into final

Kaski: The Nepal Police Club (NPC) has entered the final of the international inter-club invitational Aaha-Rara Pokhara Gold Cup football tournament underway in Pokhara.

In the first semi-final match held today at Pokhara Stadium, NPC defeated Church Boys United by 1-0 to take a step closer to the title.

This is the 11th time that NPC has made a place in the final of the tournament. The NPC has so far won the tournament title 6 times. After the first half ended in a goalless draw, NPC’s Sanjeev Lama scored in the 58th minute of the match, which stood by to take his team to the final.

In the final to be held on February 15, the NPC will play the winner of tomorrow’s second semi-final taking place between Three Star Club and Uzbekistan’s Black Bulls FC.
