Pharping bus accident: 39 injured taken to hospital

Kathmandu: Thirty-nine persons injured in the bus accident that occurred at Pharping, Dakchhinkali municipality-3, have been taken to hospital for treatment.

Two persons, including a student, died on the spot as the bus (Ba 1 5664) belonging to a local Junkiri English School met an accident while dropping children off after school hours.

SSP at Kathmandu District Police Range, Bishwo Adhikari, informed that the bus driver and an eight-year-old boy died on the spot.

The rescue works were over and some injured children were taken to hospital by their relatives. The students up to grade 8 were riding in the bus. Police have been conducting an investigation into the incident for further details.
