Ruling parties’ meeting taking place at Baluwatar
Kathmandu: A meeting of the ruling parties is now taking place at the official residence of the Prime Minister in Baluwatar at the call of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to discuss the preparations of the ruling alliance in the upcoming winter session of Parliament and the effectiveness of government’s performance.
CPN (UML) Chair and Prime Minister Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML’s Vice-Chair and Deputy Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, NC’s Vice-President Purna Bahadur Khadka, Chairperson of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Nepal, Mahantha Thakur, Chairperson of Nagarik Unmukri Party, Ranjita Shrestha, Chairperson of Janamat Party, Dr Chandra Kant (CK) Raut, leader of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Raj Kishor Yadav, chief whips of parliamentary parties of the ruling parties are present at the meeting.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli shared that ordinances, brought by the government in the recent past, will be tabled on the first day of the parliament meeting and a replacement bill will be tabled soon. The winter session of the Parliament is commencing on January 31.
