‘Mundum International Art Museum’ established at Diktel

Khotang, Jan 13: Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality has established the ‘Mundum International Art Museum’ at Diktel bazaar.

The art museum has been established to promote tourism in the district through the medium of art and to preserve indigenous culture. Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey inaugurated the art museum amidst a program today.

On the occasion, Minister Pandey lauded the initiatives of the municipality to promote and preserve the art, literature, and indigenous culture. The municipality organized the Mundum International Art Workshop and exhibition on October 4-7, 2023.

Mayor Tirtha Raj Bhattarai shared that the museum was established to make the country familiar through the medium of art and painting. —RSS
