Madhesh Province passes bill relating to tourism development

Mahendranagar (Dhanusha): A bill drafted to develop and promote tourism in Madhesh has been passed by the Madhesh Province Assembly.

A session of the Madhesh PA on Thursday endorsed the document unanimously.

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism Sakil Ali Miya presented the bill before the session.

Throwing light on the bill, he said the document was expected to create new opportunities in the Madhesh tourism sector, promoting touristic sites.

As he said, the bill has implemented a strategy to explore and promote tourist destinations with the participation of locals.

In the meeting, Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Janardan Singh Chhetri, presented the bill relating to the management of agricultural seeds.

The Madhesh PA shall meet again at 1:00 pm on Friday.
