Sahid Dasrath Health Science Academy to be upgraded as university: Health Minister

Attariya (Kailali): Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, has said the government has a plan to upgrade the Sahid Dashrath Health Science Academy as the centre of medical education.

‘The government planned to upgrade the Academy to a university. So, forward the activities including infrastructure construction to run MBBS classes,’ Minister Paudel instructed the Academy officials in the course of a monitoring visit of the Academy located at Godavari municipality-5 in Kailali, today.

He also directed the 50-bed Geta Hospital to operate emergency services round-the-clock. Physical infrastructures of around seven billion rupees have been constructed in Geta.
